Social Media & Content Marketing Manager

Location: Los Angeles, CA or California-Based Remote
Salary: $80,000–$90,000 per year

Through our Healthcare staffing solutions, Talent Incubator, and Talent Growth Hub community, we help individuals overcome barriers to employment by combining learning, community, and career opportunities into a participant-centered experience.

We’re looking for a creative, hands-on Social Media & Content Marketing Manager to help grow AlliedUP’s brand, engage our community, and tell the stories of the people we serve.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating content, managing social channels, executing campaigns, and working closely with leadership in a fast-moving, mission-driven organization.

What You’ll Do

Social Media Management

  • Manage and grow AlliedUP’s presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging platforms

  • Create, schedule, and publish content across channels

  • Maintain a consistent content calendar and posting cadence

  • Monitor engagement and identify opportunities to improve reach and performance

Content Creation & Storytelling

Create engaging, mission-driven content including:

  • Social media posts and graphics

  • Carousels and short-form video

  • Community and participant spotlights

  • Promotional and email marketing content

You’ll transform participant stories, learning content, community conversations, and program outcomes into compelling digital content that reflects AlliedUP’s impact.

Campaign Execution

  • Execute marketing campaigns supporting participant engagement, community activation, events, and program launches

  • Coordinate timelines, assets, and publishing schedules

  • Ensure consistent messaging across all channels

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with AlliedUP leadership, community teams, and our creative agency to:

  • Surface authentic participant stories

  • Support community engagement initiatives

  • Coordinate marketing assets and deliverables

  • Keep projects moving on time and on brand

Marketing Operations & Reporting

  • Maintain content calendars and workflows

  • Organize marketing assets and templates

  • Track engagement and campaign performance

  • Share insights and recommendations for continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in social media, content marketing, digital marketing, or brand marketing

  • Strong content creation, copywriting, and storytelling skills

  • Experience managing multiple social media platforms

  • Experience creating short-form video and social-first content

  • Proficiency with Canva, CapCut, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools

  • Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and execute quickly in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in workforce development, healthcare, education, nonprofit, or social impact organizations

  • Experience working in startups or high-growth environments

  • Experience collaborating with agencies and cross-functional teams

  • Familiarity with community platforms such as Circle, Slack, or Discord
