Pay: $35.00/hour
Job Type: Full-Time | Long-Term Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday | Clinic shifts may include 8 AM–5 PM, 10 AM–7 PM, or 11 AM–8 PM; weekends as needed

Registered Dental Assistant Opportunity

AlliedUP Co-op is hiring an experienced Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join a large, mission-driven Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Fremont, CA.

You'll work directly with dentists to provide high-quality dental care to a diverse patient population in a busy community health setting.

What You'll Do

  • Provide chairside assistance during preventive, restorative, and oral surgery procedures
  • Prepare patients, treatment rooms, instruments, and dental materials
  • Take digital X-rays for adult and pediatric patients
  • Record medical/dental histories, vital signs, charting, and treatment documentation
  • Take impressions and fabricate temporary crowns and bridges
  • Perform coronal polishing and other procedures within California RDA scope of practice
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain infection-control standards
  • Provide oral hygiene and post-treatment education
  • Assist with referrals and follow-up appointments
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

What You Need

  • Current California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license
  • 2+ years of Dental Assistant experience
  • Coronal Polishing Certification required
  • California X-Ray certification/license required
  • California Sealant Certification preferred
  • Adult and pediatric dental experience preferred
  • Bilingual skills a plus
