About the Role:
We’re seeking a highly skilled and experienced Recruitment and Employment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our recruitment team, you’ll be responsible for sourcing and recruiting top talent, providing career coaching and support, and matching candidates with job opportunities that align with their skills and goals.
Responsibilities:
- Source and recruit allied health candidates through various channels, including job boards, ATS, community referrals, and outreach
- Screen applicants for certifications, experience, readiness, and fit, and build pipelines for in-demand roles
- Coordinate interviews, credentialing, and onboarding with employer partners
- Conduct career assessments and develop individualized employment plans (IEPs) for candidates
- Provide 1:1 coaching on resumes, applications, and interviews, and facilitate virtual workshops to support job readiness and professional growth
- Identify and resolve employment barriers, such as transportation and childcare, to ensure candidates’ success
- Match participants with jobs that fit their skills and long-term goals, and track employment outcomes to ensure retention and support
- Stay informed on allied health hiring trends, wages, and training pathways to inform recruitment strategies
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in healthcare recruiting, staffing, or job placement (required)
- Proven success in matching candidates to healthcare roles
- Strong knowledge of allied health roles, credentials, and labor market trends
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in ATS, Zoom, Microsoft Office, and other relevant tools
- Flexible availability, including occasional evenings and weekends
Ideal Candidate:
We’re looking for a Recruitment and Employment Specialist with a strong background in healthcare recruiting. If you have experience in the following areas, you’ll be a great fit for our team:
- Healthcare staffing industry experience, including recruitment, placement, and onboarding
- Knowledge of allied health roles, such as CNA, MA, LVN, Phlebotomist,Medical Receptionist.
- Experience with recruitment software, including ATS and applicant tracking systems
- Strong understanding of labor market trends, wages, and training pathways in the healthcare industry
- Ability to build relationships with healthcare employers and candidates
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
