Registered Nurse (RN) – Full-Time
Location: San Jose, CA
Pay: $52.72 – $64.30/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Day Shift | Full-Time
Type: Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)


We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a long-standing community health organization serving Santa Clara’s most vulnerable populations. In this full-time role, you will deliver direct patient care in an outpatient primary care setting while supervising ancillary staff and nursing students. This position offers a unique opportunity to make an impact through both clinical service and leadership, contributing to integrated care and health equity for underserved communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Triage walk-in patients and phone calls; provide clinical advice

  • Administer vaccines, perform POC testing, venipuncture, wound care

  • Review labs/imaging and coordinate follow-up with providers

  • Supervise medical assistants and oversee nursing students

  • Support patient education, staff training, and care quality initiatives

  • Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR system (EPIC preferred)


Qualifications

  • Active RN license in California (required)

  • 2+ years RN experience in a primary care or outpatient setting

  • CPR certification (required); ACLS/PALS preferred

  • Strong clinical skills and cultural sensitivity

  • Bilingual in Spanish, Mandarin, or Vietnamese a plus
