Facilities Director
Location: Oakland, CA (On-Site)
Type: Contract-to-Hire | Full-Time
Pay: $60 per hour
About the Role
AlliedUP is hiring a Facilities Director for a contract-to-hire opportunity with a mission-driven healthcare organization. This role leads facilities operations, Environmental Services (EVS), and Security to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient clinic environments.

What You’ll Do

Oversee facility operations (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, repairs)

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards

Lead EVS (cleaning, sanitation, infection control)

Manage security systems, protocols, and vendor partners

Plan and oversee renovations, upgrades, and capital projects

Manage vendors, contracts, and service providers

Develop and manage facilities budgets

Partner with leadership to improve facility performance
Qualifications
-
5+ years of facilities management experience (healthcare preferred)

Experience overseeing EVS and/or security operations

Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)

Strong project management and budgeting experience

Understanding of healthcare compliance and safety standards

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Facilities, Engineering, Business, or related field

(OR equivalent experience in facilities leadership roles)
Work Environment
-
100% on-site in Oakland, CA
-
Travel between clinic sites required
