Data Entry Clerk (Contract-to-Hire)

AlliedUP is seeking a Data Entry Clerk to support our client's Black Maternal and Infant Health Program.In this contract role, you will perform state and county data entry, reporting, and administrative support to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant program operations. 

Role: Data Entry Clerk
Location: On-site Oakland, CA
Pay Rate:$26 per hour
Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00 am- 5:00pm


Key Responsibilities

  • Enter case management and program data accurately and on schedule into State-approved systems

  • Maintain clean, complete, and compliant participant and program data

  • Compile and generate statistical reports as requested

  • Support filing systems, document management, and administrative workflows

  • Utilize data tools (Excel, Microsoft, Tableau) for reporting

  • Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times


Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 2+ years experience in data entry and administrative support

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work on-site and independently with attention to detail

  • Ability to remain calm, courteous, and organized in a high-volume environment

  • Demonstrated cultural competence and active listening

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting health, public health, mental health, or community programs

  • Familiarity with data tools (Excel, Tableau)
