About the Role
AlliedUP Cooperative is partnering with a Community Healthcare Clinic to hire a Behavioral Health Records & Data Coordinator to support the clinic’s Behavioral Health Department. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, offering the chance to transition into a permanent role with our client based on performance and business needs.
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting psychiatric providers by maintaining accurate clinical data, managing behavioral health medical records, and ensuring compliance with all privacy and regulatory requirements.
What You’ll Do

Maintain databases tracking active behavioral health caseloads

Enter and validate patient and service data in the EHR system daily

Manage and process Protected Health Information (PHI) requests in compliance with regulations

Assemble, organize, and maintain behavioral health medical records

Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information

Prepare records for psychiatric appointments and assist with follow-up scheduling

Provide administrative and clerical support to behavioral health staff

Support quality assurance activities and departmental compliance

Provide relief coverage and perform related duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For

High school diploma or equivalent required

Minimum three (3) years of clerical or administrative experience

Healthcare, behavioral health, or community clinic experience preferred

Experience with medical records, EHR systems (e.g., INSYST), and data entry
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality (HIPAA)

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
