Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Skilled Nursing
Our client is a continuing care retirement community in Carlsbad, CA providing skilled nursing, assisted living, and memory care services. They are seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to support their skilled nursing team.
Location: Carlsbad, CA
Pay Rate: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour
Work Schedule:
PM Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
NOC Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Credentials and Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in California
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
- Reliable and able to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualification Skills
- Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility with scheduling
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility
- Support transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
- Provide incontinence care and maintain proper hygiene
- Follow individualized care plans and complete assigned tasks during each shift
- Communicate effectively with nurses and care team members
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
- Ensure a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents
- Provide emotional support and engage residents to enhance quality of life
- Follow all facility policies and infection control procedures
