Shift: Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, Saturdays 8:00am to 1:00pm as needed.

Your ability to handle a high volume of calls while maintaining a calm, respectful, and solutions-oriented approach is essential. Candidates with a background in healthcare or community-based services are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and manage high-volume inbound and outbound calls in a timely, courteous, and culturally sensitive manner.
- Schedule, confirm, or reschedule appointments across multiple departments including medical, dental, and behavioral health services.
- Triage and route patient inquiries appropriately, escalating urgent issues per clinic protocols.
- Provide clear and accurate information regarding clinic services, hours, insurance, and eligibility requirements.
- Support patients in understanding how to prepare for appointments, access follow-up care, or connect with other resources.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all interactions in the EPIC electronic health record (EHR) or call management system.
- Collaborate with front desk, care coordination, and clinical teams to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Follow all HIPAA and privacy regulations when handling patient information.
- Demonstrate cultural humility and a trauma-informed approach when interacting with patients from diverse backgrounds.
- Minimum 6 Months of experience in a healthcare call center, medical front office, or community health setting.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) Required.
- Knowledge of EPIC electronic health records (EHR) required.
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology (in both English and Spanish)
- Strong understanding of healthcare services, appointment scheduling, and basic medical terminology.
- Experience working with underserved populations, including those affected by health disparities, is highly valued.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on active listening, clarity, and empathy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
