Key Responsibilities:

Advanced Root Canal Therapy & Surgical Procedures: Perform root canal treatments, endodontic surgeries such as apicoectomies, and post-and-core restorations with precision and care.

Patient Consultation & Education: Meet with patients to discuss dental concerns, explain treatment options, procedures, associated risks, and post-treatment care to ensure informed decision-making.

Diagnostic Assessment & Treatment Planning: Utilize digital X-rays, pulp testing, CT scans, and other diagnostic tools to accurately assess conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.

Pain Management & Relief: Provide effective solutions for pulp and nerve-related dental pain, ensuring patient comfort and trust.

Collaborative Care: Work closely with general dentists and specialists within St. John’s Community Health to ensure seamless, comprehensive patient care and optimal outcomes.

Support and Mentorship: Assist in educating and mentoring general dentists and team members on endodontic diagnosis and treatment planning.

Record Keeping & Compliance: Maintain meticulous patient records, adhere to infection control protocols, and comply with all safety and regulatory standards.

Professional Development: Stay updated on the latest advancements in endodontic techniques, materials, and technologies through continuous learning.

Organizational Participation: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, workflow enhancements, and team development activities.
Note: Limited after-hours availability may be required for urgent patient needs.
Qualifications:

Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited institution.

Completion of an accredited Endodontic residency program.

Board certification in Endodontics.

Active California Dental License in good standing.

Proven clinical expertise in endodontic diagnosis and procedures.
